Slingshot Solutions is extremely pleased to announce its 2019 partnership with Valley Interfaith Community Resource Center. Slingshot is providing title sponsorship for VICRC’s Hop Into Spring 5K walk/run fundraiser, to be held Saturday, April 13th at Glenwood Gardens.
Slingshot’s Rob Eberhardt says “VICRC’s holistic approach targets their clients’ long-term success. Their mission and team are moving forward strong and on the right track, and we’re 100% behind them. This event is a great opportunity for us and the community to pour back into them. Come join Slingshot as a sponsor, and/or participant!”
Now in its 8th year, VICRC’ annual 5K fundraiser is called “Hop Into Spring”. Hosted by Q102’s Natalie Jones, the event consists of a 5K race with prizes for the winning runners of each category, a scavenger hunt for families, raffle baskets, refreshments and premium tech shirts for all participants, and a chance to meet Amazing Race winner Megan Linz. Full details and registration are online at www.vicrc.org/5k.
For decades, Valley Interfaith has provided short-term and long-term support for local families struggling to make ends meet in the Lockland and surrounding areas. This support includes food, clothing and other material resources, as well as counseling and training services that build their clients’ self-sustainability.
